Could you inform Carlton about the infrastructure projects that you believe are necessary for District 15? Carlton believes that Goose Creek requires an overpass at the intersection of HWY 52, Red Bank, and St. James, similar to the one that Mount Pleasant has on HWY 17 near McDonald's. This particular intersection in District 15 is quite hazardous and leads to significant traffic delays during rush hour.
Residents of Deer Park and Midland Park have been requesting sound barriers along I-26 for years to ensure peace of mind. The state is currently constructing such barriers along I-26 and I-77 in the Upstate, and it's high time that District 15 gets this long overdue project completed.
To gain a deeper understanding of the proposals for District 15, consider watching Carlton's videos.
If you are a parent of a child who goes to Goose Creek Elementary, Carlton would love to hear your opinion on how to make drop-off and pick-up safer and more accessible.
