– Widening and repairing key roads to ease congestion and improve safety.
– Improving drainage and stormwater systems to reduce flooding.
– Modernizing water, sewer, and utility systems to support future growth responsibly.
– Expanding bike paths, sidewalks, and safe pedestrian crossings for residents and visitors.
– Maintaining parks, beaches, and public spaces that bring our community together.

Carlton fights for transparency in schools, courts, and government, so no parent is ever left in the dark about their own child. He knows that when parents are excluded from decisions that shape their children’s lives, families suffer — and our community suffers too.
He has seen firsthand how nepotism and cronyism in family court shut parents out of critical decisions, leaving families powerless in the face of an unfair system. That’s why he is determined to end these practices and restore fairness and accountability to the courts.
Carlton supports giving parents a true voice through jury trials in family court — a right guaranteed by the 6th, 7th, and 14th Amendments to the U.S. Constitution. As a veteran, he reminds us that countless men and women fought and died to defend these constitutional rights, yet South Carolina still denies parents this protection — even though states like Texas and Georgia already provide jury trials in family court.
He also advocates for reforming how judges are chosen — to eliminate backroom deals and restore trust in the courts. Carlton knows that families deserve judges who are fair, impartial, and chosen on merit — not through cronyism or political favors.
Unlike his opponent — who supports policies that keep important information from parents — Carlton will always stand up to school officials, bureaucrats, and judges who try to shut families out.
