Carlton Walker, along with friends and family, gathered to celebrate her birthday following her passing.
Carlton traveled to Miami to meet with the Dr. that wrote Florida's Law.
Dr. Block, the physician responsible for drafting Florida’s medical cannabis legislation, generously shared his expertise with Carlton. Carlton had the distinct honor of meeting with him to discuss how best to develop and implement sound medical cannabis policies for South Carolina.
Anyone who has followed the fight for medical cannabis laws knows these two champions: Dr. Block, who successfully authored Florida’s groundbreaking legislation, and Jill Swing, who has spent over a decade courageously advocating to bring compassionate care cannabis to the patients of South Carolina. Their dedication is a testament to what’s possible when we put people over politics.
