I’m Carlton Walker, a lifelong Five Islands local, veteran, and small business owner committed to protecting our community.

I’m not a career politician, I’m a lifelong local and small business owner who has spent years working hands-on to fix problems for homeowners and our community.

I grew up on these islands, attending Stiles Point Elementary and James Island schools, working at Folly Beach County Park, and spending countless mornings on the water and evenings with neighbors and family across James, Johns, Kiawah, Seabrook, and Folly. These places aren’t just where I live, they shaped who I am.

After serving our country, I returned home to build businesses, work in construction and real estate, and help families preserve and improve their homes. Through that work, I’ve seen firsthand the challenges our community faces, flooding, traffic, overdevelopment, and families struggling with a system that too often forgets the people it serves.

I’m running for State House to protect our islands, fix infrastructure problems, restore accountability, and ensure future generations can enjoy the same community we were fortunate to grow up in.
