A Statement from Carlton about this election:

It's concerning that a judge wants to recuse themselves from my friend's Family Court case simply because my friend knows me. It's puzzling that the court didn't do the same for me due to actual political conflicts. This situation highlights the need to address serious justice issues in South Carolina courts. I have been contacted by the same judicial member outside of the court despite being removed from my case. I have filed police reports regarding this unwelcome contact made by the court outside the courtroom. Put me in, Coach, so I can help make our judiciary fairer for all of us. I firmly advocate for the right to jury trials by our peers as outlined in the 6th, 7th, and 14th Amendments of the US Constitution. My service in Somalia aboard the USS WASP LHD 1 has underscored my commitment to upholding these essential constitutional rights. I wrote a blank Check with my life to defend the Constitution. In Texas, juries are used for the 14th in family court, and in Georgia, they are used for the 7th in family court. In South Carolina, the Supreme Court stated in the case of DeMarco vs DeMarco 2011 that the Family Court of South Carolina is violating the 6th Amendment by imprisoning parents without the option of a jury trial when they face jail time for a "Rule to Show Cause" in family court. If two states have adopted this approach, and our Supreme Court acknowledges that our Family Court is in error, then it is time to return the power to the people. Let's allow a jury of your peers to decide whether the state can take your child. Should a jury decide the appropriate amounts for child support, guardian fees, and legal fees, similar to how Georgia allows per the 7th Amendment? Alternatively, should a corrupt judge allow your ex's lawyer to prolong the case in order to generate more money? In such a scenario, imagine a corrupt judge disregarded the evidence and rules, resulting in you having to pay 70% of your income to these lawyers. A jury would likely not condone this and would recognize the truth. When we have juries, we take away the power from the judge and give it to the people. This stops nepotism and favoritism in our courts.

I would like to suggest putting an end to the practice of Family Court revoking parents' driver's licenses for falling behind on child support. Instead, I propose treating it as a civil judgment to ensure that parents can still visit their children, maintain their employment, and keep their jobs. Additionally, I believe it would be beneficial for the Court to provide job opportunities to those who are behind on child support in order to help them get caught up. This proposal has gained support from many truckers who have lost their livelihoods during the pandemic because of Family Court, some of whom have unfortunately turned to drug addiction as a result of losing everything. You might want to ask the Family Courts to answer, “How is it in the best interest of a minor child for one parent to lose their business and hope, leading to them becoming a drug addict good for the child?” It certainly isn't, and this has happened in Charleston to a man who had his CDL but was taken by the Charleston County Family Courts. This must change, and I have the guts to take on this 60 Billion Dollar National industry that is destroying parents' and our children’s futures. Vote Carlton Walker on November 5, 2024.

I will also make shared parenting a reality because children need both able, willing, and fit parents. I will also end the destruction of the family unit where if a female is on welfare, she can NOT have a man in her home or lose the benefit. "She no longer has to hide the fact that the father of her child is living with her, trying to provide. I want to teach these people how to start a business or acquire good trade skills so that they can break free from dependency on government welfare and the government being their master. Telling mothers that the father cannot be in the home if they want this check is no different than the slave master in the 1800s selling the man off so the man could not have any influence in the upbringing to try to free his children from slavery. This is modern-day slavery and it keeps an entire community oppressed. This was started in the 60’s and was designed to break up the black family and keep them down. If you don't believe I can accomplish all this and turn this system around, then continue supporting JA Moore. Criticism of democracy

In the Republic, Plato's Socrates raises a number of criticisms of democracy. He claims that democracy is a danger due to excessive freedom. He also argues that, in a system in which everyone has a right to rule, all sorts of selfish people who care nothing for the people but are only motivated by their own personal desires are able to attain power. He concludes that democracy risks bringing dictators, tyrants, and demagogues to power. He also claims that democracies have leaders without proper skills or morals and that it is quite unlikely that the best equipped to rule will come to power. Carlton believes this is JA Moore based on his lack of work and his record of not showing up. There was another philosopher who said what is Justice? Justice is whoever is in power. Carlton in DISTRICT 15 in 1974 - Lowcountry enjoyment

Carlton discovered the pleasure of delicious watermelon and mastered the skills of riding his bike in District 15. He has been an active member of this community since the start. Carlton was born at St. Frances Hospital in downtown Charleston and came home to 8811 Deerwood Drive, which is situated within SC House District 15. He lived in a trailer with his mother next door to his grandparents. He has been dedicated to working towards improving the area ever since. Its his home and yours.

Carlton has a remarkable background having served under General Colin Powell in Somalia as an Aviation Boatswain's Mate Blue Shirt for the Navy. He worked on the Flight Deck and Hanger Bay, which is considered the second most dangerous job in the Navy.

THE AVIATION BOATSWAIN’S MATE INSIGNIA

Our insignia, bearing crossed anchors with wings, has stood for gallantry, productivity, and dedication for nearly fifty years. Many excellent AB’s have given their limbs and in too many cases their lives, performing the feats of the flight deck. Lets break the insignia down and put it into the right perspective for you. The anchor is a heavy device used to secure a sea-going vessel or boat to a specific spot in a body of water. A single well-trained AB is an anchor. They secure their watch stations, whether it be securing aircraft on deck, fueling and defueling aircraft, directing aircraft around the deck, salvaging damaged aircraft, making aircraft settings on the arresting gear engine, or hooking up and launching aircraft off our catapults. Our insignia has two anchors. This signifies that we can’t do our jobs alone. We must rely on each other and combine our knowledge and talents to fulfill our role on every flight and hangar deck. Just like a symphony orchestra in an amphitheater, we perform the marvelous spectacle of carrier air operations. We see each other at our worst and our best and we assist each other through the rough and dangerous times that are always present. We teach each other, we test each other and though it is never stated, we love and respect each other deeply. Like the identical crossed anchors, our souls are bonded in friendship forever. Then there are the wings. To put wings on a set of anchors in itself is superfluous. In retrospect, it would take very powerful wings and a strong back to support them in flight. AB’s have the strong backs and the determination to get the job done no matter what the sacrifice. Unfortunately, those sacrifices are many and I would hope that they don’t go unrewarded. Remember the old fable about whenever a bell chimes, an angel gets its wings? Well, whenever you hear the ship’s bell sound, more AB’s have sacrificed their time and used their professionalism to earn their wings. Our wings should signify that we have earned and secured our place in heaven.

USS Wasp - Somalia 1993

During his time, Carlton was part of a flight deck team that had to recover a Marine helicopter that was shot down during the Somalia mission in 1993. Along with another Airedale, Carlton was chosen by his Chief to recover the destroyed H-46 back on deck while his Chief directed the H-53 carrying the destroyed aircraft. Carlton's bravery and dedication to his country are a testament to his character and leadership skills. These qualities will be valuable in his new role as the SC State House Representative for District 15.

We Can work together to bring District 15's tax money back and the Distrcit UP! Carlton lives by the motto, "Don't tell me how ROCKY the SEA is, just BRING THE DAMN SHIP IN!" Carlton reconnected with a shipmate from USS WASP LHD 1, with whom he served in Somalia in 1993. His shipmate now works at Lowes on James Island. Carlton is frustrated that they risked their lives and made sacrifices for South Carolina and the United States, while the family court system in South Carolina and the U.S. does not follow the US Constitution of the 6th, 7th and 14th Amendments that they fought to protect.
